👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Congratulations to all the Boyle AC members who took part in today’s Strokestown 10K!

With temperatures soaring and very challenging running conditions, every runner who crossed the finish line showed incredible determination, resilience, and commitment. The heat made this year’s race a real test of endurance, and you all did yourselves and the club proud.

A huge well done to everyone who participated, whether you were chasing a PB, racing competitively, or simply enjoying the challenge. Your hard work and dedication continue to inspire others within the club.

⚠️ Please be aware that the race is completely SOLD OUT and there is NO official transfer option available for entries.

If anyone contacts you claiming to have a race number or entry for sale, please exercise caution, as these offers are not authorised by Boyle AC and may be fraudulent.

We would hate to see anyone lose money to scammers.

What an incredible way to wrap things up!

Over the past two Tuesdays at the ATU Sligo running track, participants enjoyed valuable and rewarding training sessions.

A sincere thank you to Adrian Gurn for sharing his time, knowledge, and expertise, and for organising these sessions. Your support and encouragement were greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

The sessions helped improve running technique, build confidence on the track, and provided an opportunity to train together in a positive and supportive environment.

Thank you again, Adrian, for making it all possible. We look forward to putting what we've learned into practice in the training sessions and competitions ahead.

A fantastic evening was had recently by members of Boyle AC during a trip to the ATU Sligo running track 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The session gave athletes a great opportunity to train on the excellent facilities, work on speed and technique, and enjoy a brilliant team atmosphere. It was a valuable experience for all involved and a really enjoyable night from start to finish.

A huge thank you to coach Adrian Gurn for organising the event and for all the time and effort put into supporting and encouraging our athletes. 👏

Boyle A.C. are thrilled to launch our annual 5K Road Race and this year’s event will proudly support the Jack & Jill Foundation💛

🕗 8PM Start
📍 Starting at Boyle Abbey

Participants will run along the scenic Boyle Canal on an officially measured Athletics Ireland permitted course — flat, fast, and we mean FLAT… as in ZERO elevation! ⚡

🏅 Prizes for overall & age category winners

Most importantly, this year’s race is also a fundraiser for the Jack & Jill Foundation, helping provide in-home nursing care and respite support for families of children with severe learning disability and complex medical needs.
