Dave and his team were top class last Sunday and policed the traffic exceptionally well on top of doing a few extra jobs. The race wouldn’t be ran safely without BikeMarshals.ie on the job!

2 Races (17km lap)
Men and Jnr Men (A+, A1, A2, A3 and
Jnr M) – 6 laps
Women and Masters (W, Jnr W, M40, M50 and M60) – 5 laps

Starting @ 1pm sharp. Fee: €20 (plus booking fee)

Entry Criteria:
License holders satisfying one of the following criteria:
Belonging to a team/club based in Munster
Unattached and resident in Munster
Resident within Munster
Belonging to a team/club based outside of Ireland but:
Immediate past address was in Munster
Most previous Irish team/club was based in Munster

The racing is ramping up and riders are gearing up for the Munster Champs on August 30th in Whitechurch, with Nationals only a few weeks after.

A big thank you to all the volounteers and marshals who have been out the last 5 weeks making Paty's League a success!

League Night 5

Munster Champs Loop (x3 - 51.17km)

4 groups

G1 M60 & Novice 12 riders 38.7 km/hr avg

5 minute gap

G2 C3 and Masters 10 riders 40.1 km/hr avg

2 minutes

G3 C2s and retried Rás Riders 10 riders 41.5 km/hr avg

45 seconds

G4 Scratch Riders 2 42.2 km/hr avg

Barry Meade (G3) and Jack Lightfoot (G4) made the bridge on lap 3 and took it to the line. Lightfoot felt a heavy boot from Mr Meade in the gallop and the Kanturk Cycling Club O'Leary Stone man took the win on the night.

30 seconds back, a superb ride from Elodn Looney (G1) who brook from group 1 saw him hold a 1 second gap rounding out the night's podium. John Duggan Middleton C&T Club 4th and Chirsty K BCC took 5th.

Great to see Tony Kenneally and Kris Martinkus back in action after the two youngsters were sidelined over the summer.

We are back to Rathpeacon for the next 2 weeks! 6:30pm sign on.
