Gents National Inter-County Championship
Result

Cork are the 2026 Anchor Cup champions following an excellent final-day performance at Navan Pitch & Putt Club.

Beginning Sunday one shot behind overnight leaders Kerry, Cork produced a Day 2 total of 57 under par to finish the championship on 109 under and secure the title by six shots.

Cork’s three Foursomes pairings contributed 21 under:

* John Cahill and David Sexton: 50 (−4)
* Ray Murphy and Eoin Walsh: 46 (−8)
* Owen Shannon and John Walsh: 45 (−9)

Their best five Singles scores then added a further 36 under:

* John Walsh: 44 (−10)
* David Sexton: 46 (−8)
* Eoin Walsh: 46 (−8)
* John Cahill: 48 (−6)
* Ray Murphy: 50 (−4)

Kerry recorded a Day 2 total of 50 under—15 under in the Foursomes and 35 under from their five counting Singles—to finish as runners-up on 103 under.

Dublin completed the podium on 94 under after adding 44 under on Sunday, made up of 15 under in the Foursomes and 29 under from their five counting Singles.

Anchor Cup prize winners:

* 1st: Cork −109
* 2nd: Kerry −103
* 3rd: Dublin −94

Tipperary’s Stephen Shoer was presented with the medal for the best 36-hole gross Singles score. Shoer followed Saturday’s 47 (−7) with a brilliant 42 (−12) on Sunday for an outstanding total of 89 (−19).

Gents National Inter-County Championship
Division B Result

Carlow are the 2026 Eamonn Birchall Cup champions following a closely contested final day at Navan Pitch & Putt Club.

Carlow finished on 34 under par, securing the title by just one shot from Galway, with Offaly completing the prize-winning positions in third.

Prize winners:

* 1st: Carlow −34
* 2nd: Galway −33
* 3rd: Offaly −26

Ladies National Inter-County Championship – Final Result

Dublin are the 2026 Ladies National Inter-County champions following the conclusion of the championship at Navan Pitch & Putt Club.

Dublin began the final day with a three-shot advantage and finished on 13 under par to secure the title by three shots from Cork. Offaly completed the prize-winning positions in third place on eight under.

Prize winners:

* 1st: Dublin −13
* 2nd: Cork −10
* 3rd: Offaly −8

Cork’s Eleanor Walsh was presented with the medal for the best 18-hole gross Singles score after returning an excellent round of 47 (−7).

Congratulations to Dublin, all the prize winners and Eleanor on an outstanding individual performance.
