As you may already be aware, it seems we have been targeted with a phishing attack. An email from outside the archery.ie domain is currently circulating, impersonating Phillip Early (plus other committee memebers) and asking to make contact.

If you have received this email, please report it as phishing/spam and block the sender immediately.

As a general reminder, please remain vigilant against these types of attacks. If you notice anything unusual, flag it right away and double-check with the sender through a separate channel if necessary. The Board of Archery Ireland is delighted to announce that we have received a second donation of equipment from World Archery as part of our application to their Equipment Assistance Programme 2024.

World Archery’s vision is for a world in which everyone has the opportunity to practise, engage with and enjoy the Olympic sport of archery. Shortage of equipment is a problem in many countries and limits the development of the sport, and the absence of elite equipment prevents talented athletes reaching the international level. World Archery’s assistance programme aims to help archers competing in Olympic disciplines of archery that are most in need of equipment. It is made possible thanks to the support of World Archery’s partners and associate sponsors.

Toward this goal, Archery Ireland will be distributing the final part of this equipment to our most promising athletes, allowing for our most talented and rising star athletes with international intentions and commitment to the sport to be supported with some of the best equipment available.
