This one’s hard to write, but here goes 💔
To everyone who’s ever called Elev8 home ❤️
After 13 years, I’m stepping down as owner of Elev8 and passing the reins to Natasha & Alan.
It started in 2014, in a field - just an idea, some equipment and a group of people mad enough to believe in it with me…from there to Dundrum, then nearly 11 years in Deansgrange. Some of you have been with me since that field 🙌
This was never just a business, it was a community where everyone could go to feel comfortable. It was the run clubs on cold dark mornings, the marathon training, the adventure races, the nights out (a few of which somehow led to marriages and kids along the way 😂). I’ve watched people change in front of me, physically and mentally and I’ve been so lucky to be part of that story.
Life has a funny way of moving certain pieces around on you. Between a new opportunity and everything else going on, I’ve had to be honest with myself about what I can take on. It was not a decision I made lightly.
I couldn’t think of two better people to carry this forward. Natasha’s care & attention for this place speaks for itself. Alan’s settled in like he’s been here since day one. Elev8 is in amazing hands.
Thank you for 13 years, you were never just members to me - your family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to anyone who has ever supported me in this crazy dream ❤️
