Avoca Hockey Club is based in Blackrock, Co Dublin, Ireland. A Great Hockey Club based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.

We have 5 Mens & 5 Ladies Senior Teams. We also have a huge junior section for both boys and girls, as well as thriving over 35s and masters sections.

Huge congratulations to Rebecca Ryan for making the Irish All Stars U16 girls team heading to the Pro Series Indoor National Tournament in South Africa this December!

Big shoutout to Alexa Yoakley and Joshua Carroll for being picked as reserves too. What an amazing achievement! It’s awesome to see more Avoca players shining in indoor sports at this level 🔥

Great win for the Irish ladies o55s in the 4 Nations tournament in Belfast over the weekend 🏆Coached and managed by our own Dave Morel and Ben Marnell 🔥

They beat Wales 6-1 on Friday and despite losing 3-2 to Scotland on Saturday, they managed to beat the reigning world champions England in the final match today to secure the trophy💪☘️

A huge congratulations to all of our Avoca players who proudly represented Leinster over the weekend! 💙🏑

The Leinster U21 Men competed against Ulster in the first U21 Interprovincial Tournament in 6 years, a fantastic achievement for all involved. A special well done to Avoca’s Nathan, Ben & Joshua on their selection and performances! 👏

Avoca also had fantastic representation at the Girls National Festival, with several players representing Leinster across the weekend 💪

Congratulations to all players and coaches involved. We’re incredibly proud of you all! 🙌

Great to see Avoca juniors well represented at the tournament held in the fantastic facilities of Our Lady’s School Terenure.

There was amazing indoor hockey played at various ages from u12s to u18s. Congratulations to Ross Willis for all the organisation and team of coaches including our own Tyron Kritzinger 🙌

A big thanks to for hosting 53 of our 6th Class girls on their Cork Tour 2026! 🚌🎉

They had a great time with hockey, bus songs, and lots of laughs. Big thanks to Fiona English for organising everything and to our awesome girls for representing the Avoca spirit: Friendship, Inclusion, Fun, Fair Play! 🙌
