Last Friday saw Ferbane Athletic Club host their annual Hugo Smith Memorial 5K in ideal racing conditions. Over 340 participants took to the roads in a very exciting affair. with 22 of this number coming from Birr Athletic Club Seniors.

This was a superbly organised race with great hospitality extended afterwards. Massive thanks to all in Ferbane 👏

Birr A.C. had 3 prize winners on the night; congratulations to Caoimhe Mannion, Leah Murray and Kathleen Delaney who all played first in their respective categories 👏👏

Rhode Athletic Club hosted last weekend’s 5k in this year's Healthy Offaly 5k Road Race Series. On a beautiful sunny morning, conditions were ideal for running with a great number of participants crossing the finishing line.

Many thanks to Rhode A.C. for a most enjoyable morning and well done to all the members of Birr Athletic Club Seniors who took part. A special mention of congratulations to Leah Murray who came first in her category.

What a great morning of racing courtesy of Banagher Athletic Club yesterday!

This was Race No.2 of the Healthy Offaly 5k Series with the large field taking part demonstrating the popularity of this Series.

There was a great turnout from Birr Athletic Club Seniors, with some of our Juvenile members taking to the course also.

Many thanks to Banagher A.C. for a super outing, next up is a trip to Rhode Athletic Club for race No. 3.

The first race in this year's Healthy Offaly 5K Road Race Series took place last Sunday, hosted by Tullamore Harriers.
With over 500 athletes crossing the finish line, it was certainly a very successful event, in perfect racing conditions.
Many thanks to Tullamore Harriers for a great event!
