The first team photo of the season for our Senior Women was taken at their opening game away to Midland Warriors last weekend, and undoubtedly, it won’t be the last! 💚🖤

A special congratulations to Sarah Delahunty and Méabh Cahalan, who both made their Senior debuts for the team. A brilliant milestone for both players and hopefully the first of many appearances! 💪

Our U18 & U16 boys continued their pre-season preparations today, with matches against Ballinasloe and Thurles respectively. 🟢⚫

It was great to see so many players involved across both teams, putting in the hard work ahead of the new season. Well done to everyone who took to the pitch! 💪

A huge thank you to Athenry Credit Union for sponsoring the boys’ new jerseys, which were worn for the first time today. They look fantastic, and we really appreciate the continued support.

Our Senior Women got their Midlands League campaign off to a fantastic start today, taking on Midland Warriors in the first round and coming away with an impressive 62–5 victory.

It was a brilliant all-round team performance, with great attacking rugby, strong defence and plenty of hard work throughout the game. The team showed great determination and energy from the first whistle to the final one. 👏🔥

We were also delighted to see our fantastic new additions to the squad making their mark this season. A huge welcome and we’re delighted to have you all on board!

A massive well done to the entire squad and coaching team on a great opening game. Plenty to be proud of and a fantastic foundation to build on for the season ahead.

MINIS RUGBY IS BACK! ⚫🟢💪

It was brilliant to see our Minis back at the club this morning for the start of another season!

We had fantastic numbers for our first morning back, and we’re looking forward to seeing the groups continue to grow over the coming weeks.

New players are always welcome, with teams for boys and girls born from 2015–2021. No previous rugby experience is needed — just come along and get involved!

Our Senior Women kick off their season tomorrow as they begin their Midlands League campaign!

They travel away to take on Midland Warriors, with kick-off at 1:00pm.

🏉 Club Fixtures This Weekend 🏉

The season is well and truly underway, with teams from Minis right through to our adult sides back in action.

It’s a busy Sunday for the club, starting with our Minis returning at 10AM. New players are always welcome to come down, get involved and give rugby a try.

Our U16 and U18 Boys are also in action, taking on Ballinasloe and Thurles in pre-season friendlies.

Our Senior Women have their first match of the season away to Midland Warriors, while our Senior Men also make the trip to Midland Warriors for the Midlands Bowl Final. It should be a great double header.
