Our Senior Club Championships 2026 finished off with a bang last night in the Golf club to mark a great fortnight of tennis on our new courts!

A huge thank you to David Black and everyone who made the fortnight happen and a big shout out to everyone who participated across the championship, it really was a fortnight of fun across the club!

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mark Allen much-loved son of Rosemary Allen a long time Club member and a cherished dad to our members Jessica and Willow.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this very sad time. We send them our deepest sympathies and support from everyone at the club.

May he rest in peace. 🕊️

Dundalk Senior Louth Open took place over the past week.
Laytown/Bettystown players did so well all week and represented themselves and the Club superbly.

Laytown/Bettystown Junior Tennis Camp finished week 1 today.
Thank you to all the children and parents for making the week such a success.
A huge thanks to all our assistant coaches for fabulous work throughout the week.

All Five courts have been completed and are reopened 🎾

Behind the scenes a huge amount of work was involved in organising the courts upgrade.

A big thank you has to be said to the volunteers on the committee who organised this and what an asset it is to the club. The Club started this journey 4 years ago and a big thank you must go out to Jonathan Murphy, David Black, David O' Flaherty and Gill Brady.
They have spent a lot of their own time researching and implementing the much needed upgrades to our courts and as a club we are so grateful for all the work you have put in as a team.

We look forward to the many memories made on these courts in the coming years!

Big thank you to sports in particular Peter Smith for doing such a great job!

Court bookings have reopened for Monday, however, if there are any unforseen events the courts may need to be closed for longer, we will keep you posted! 🎾
