Twomey Motorsport Page This page is dedicated to the Twomey family Motorsport team. Following my father’s interest in motor sport, Andrew begun his own experience when he turned 16.

His father started his experience in 1965 in rallying. In the meantime Andrew had seen his father race, but also built and fix his rally car. So all Andrew knows today, he obtained from family racing experience. Andrew’s older brothers had also had a try in motor racing. Unfortunately they gave it up. It then turned Andrew’s turn when he turned 16. After building his own rally car in 2006, he took

the challenge. In 2012 Andrew entered the British Rallycross Championship in Citroen Saxo VTS. He raced in Hot Hatch class. Andrew won his first race in Croft, Yorkshire. But most importantly he won the Championship. Also that same year at the Rallycross Championship Awards Ball, Andrew won the award for the driver of the year after jumping a Citroen Saxo across Lydden Hill. At this moment in time Andrew and his father, Kevin, are changing from rallycross to circuit racing in the same Championship winning car, Citroen Saxo VTS. They will be racing in Mondello for most of this coming season. Keep up to date to check on Andrew's performance this season and also the performance of the car. Hi guys so here is what we have been hiding and working on for the couple of months since we sold the C2.
This little 106 started life as a cup car and now has grown up into a 106 MAXI.
The car came home on the trailer there was a nick name put on the 106. Call the sad car 😥. Don't think we can call it the sad car anymore.
There is a couple of jobs to be finished on the 106 MAXI before you see on track.
