The Wild Altantic Mizen Cycle will take place on 12th July 2025 There are three routes, 65k, 100k and 130k, starting and finishing in Bantry.

The Wild Altantic Mizen Cycle is based in Bantry and is scheduled to be held on Sat 8 July 2023

See the stunning scenery of West Cork by cycling the Wild Atlantic Way around the Mizen and Sheeps Head Peninsulas. See Route details

Now in its 19th year, this cycle has already raised over €562,000 for local West Cork Charities. There will be Water-stops and Food-stops en route. A repair/ breakdown van will be available on the day but you are encouraged to have your bike serviced beforehand.

☀️ WAMCycle 2025 – Last-Minute Tips! 🚴‍♀️
Tomorrow’s looking hot & sunny – here’s how to stay cool and ready on the road:

💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate – start early & keep sipping throughout
🧴 Suncream is a must – top up at stops, especially your neck, ears & arms
🧢 Cap or buff under your helmet for shade
🍌 Bring snacks – keep the energy up between food stops
🛠️ Check your bike – tyres, brakes & gear all in working order?
🔧 Don’t forget your repair kit & spare tubes
👕 Lightweight, breathable gear will be your best friend!

⚠️ Loose chippings on approach to Schull (100km & 130km routes) – take care at km 24 & 28.

🎉 Post-Cycle Craic: BBQ + live music on Bantry Square – don’t miss it!
