Congratulations Zarah. Well deserved award. Your dedication to our club does not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to Zarah Pender,a very worthy winner of the prestigious Sue Peard Award which is presented to the Leinster young player in their last year of under age badminton. Awarded for their sportsmanship and commitment to Leinster Badminton over their career. This trophy dates back to 1971 and Zarah joins a long list of notable recipients over the years.
Zarah has travelled with the Leinster teams since she was a very wee one. I have had the pleasure of watching her develop into a very fine young lady and player. She is a real team player always looking out for her team mates. She never complains ( even when she should ). We wish her all the best for the future - Jean Kelly.

Grades 5-7 tonight full.
Sunday grades 4 and up.
Times ladies 3/4pm and mens start at 7pm. Partnerships determined by pulling names from a had. Lower graded players in 1 hat, higher graded players in the other hat, in order to make balanced and fun games. Cost €10

*****U19 National Title for Chloe Mcgrane *****
Hugh congratulations to Chloe on winning the U19 ladies Double Nationals title with her partner Laura Heery. Chloe & Laura played a fantastic game to pick up the gold medal beating very strong opposition. What a Great achievement for Chloe to finish her juvenile career with. Congratulations Chloe 👏👏👏👏🥇🥇🥇

EUROPEAN U17 CHAMPIONSHIPS INDIVIDUAL

Conor Blakeman & Amira Pender 🇮🇪 were the Irish winners on the opening day of the individual championships. The Irish beat Rodrigues & Costa 🇵🇹 21-12 21-19.

In the men’s singles Luke Marks lost out to Zhang of Austria 🇦🇹 21-17 21-14. Corey Chambers lost out to Massias 🇫🇷 21-6 21-8.

Ireland are involved in WS, WD, MD and XD matches on day two of the individuals. Best of luck team and coaches 👏💪☘️

This young lady has only gone and secured 2 National titles once again. Congratulations to Amira Pender who took home gold medal in the U17 Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles with partners Cory Chambers and Hannah Shochan. Amira also got a bronze medal in the girls singles.
