Hi FB friends! I am off to Baltimore this afternoon with my faithful crew, fellow Turtles - Anne Sheehy and Eoin Lowry - with a chance to swim from Fastnet Rock to Baltimore tomorrow morning (approx 7.30am start time).
I am in good hands with Kieran Collins guiding me from the boat Radiance and Noel Browne on board - all I have to do is swim - how hard can that be 😂.

I am really looking forward to this iconic swim - my first solo 😱! and really pleased to get the opportunity to swim it. Many a swimmer did not get to swim it due to the lack of suitable conditions. I feel so lucky that tomorrow my conditions are good and it feels like the stars are aligning to allow this to happen. As Anne always says - What is meant to be will always find a way. I've had a good Summer of training and, thanks to my physiotherapist, Lorna Cummins, I have remained injury free - thank you for that! So, all that is left is for me to do is -Keep Swimming!
