Aoife, Sofia, Viktoria, and Marty enjoyed cycling along the Royal Canal Greenway and the National Famine Way after a fun-filled morning with Fiona at Cloughan Farm & Cookery School.

As part of the International City/County Management Associations visit to Ireland this week, Longford County Council introduced a wonderful group from across the globe to some of the gems and key attractions that Longford has to offer. 🌍✨

The group received a warm welcome at The Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre, enjoying an engaging and informative tour.

Ballymahon Greenway Cycles then had the pleasure of bringing this fantastic group on a cycle around the Corlea Amenity Bog Walk and Cycleway. The group were interduced to the bog, the flora and Fauna , the smells & sounds that calm the senses. Some continuing on to the Royal Canal Greenway and the National Famine Way . 🚴‍♀️🌿

Their journey continued onwards to Ballymahon Library and then to the spectacular St. Mel’s Cathedral — showcasing even more of Longford’s rich heritage and culture.

Global friendships were forged, memories were made, and the day was filled with fun, laughter, and promises to return and explore more. 🤝😊
