We travelled to Enfield knowing that a win would seal the first title in our history, the issue was Enfield were fighting for the same title.
We expected the home side to come out fast, but we managed to start faster, Andy got up early to flick on to Cillian who calmly slotted home past the on rushing keeper.
We doubled the lead on 9mins when Odhran played Danny in and he crossed for Sam to fire home at the back post.
Near the end of the first half the pressure began to build from the home side but we dug in and protected our lead with everything we had.
We lost Cillian when an unfortunate ricochet met his eye and he was unable to continue, Dean came on and settled straight in winning his duels and headers.
We regrouped at halftime and knew we were in for a battle.
We started the second half as we finished the first, under pressure, but we dealt well with it.
We then travelled from back to front with the ball, Sam passed to Odhran who played in Scott, Scott took a touch and gave a perfectly weighted pass which Danny met first time to find the top corner. 3-0.
Then everything went crazy for a few seconds, as we celebrated our 3rd, Enfield broke, took the kickoff and scored, 3-1.
Obviously confusion followed but thats football, thats controversial and thats why we love it. We will learn from it.
While the mayhem continued we conceded another, it was 3-2. Finally we composed ourselves and took control of the game.
Another fantastic move ended with Scott passing to Ian outside the box, Ian fired into the bottom corner to give us some breathing space, this time the celebrations consisted of sprinting back to a defensive position.
We brought on Gabi for Scott and Shane for Danny to help us see out the game.
Enfield got their 3rd late on but it was to be the last. A 4-3 win away won us our first ever trophy.
What a night, what a group of lads.
Massive thanks to everyone who has well wished and followed us, it was great to see so many supporters on such a wet night.
Huge thanks to Enfield for having us too, a great and fair competitor who pushed us every step of the way. Gracious in defeat it's easy to see that they're a team on the up.
Thanks to the ref too for making it all happen. Much appreciated.

Danny Halpin, asked to do a job tonight as a right winger and came away with a goal and an assist, fantastic fitness but more Importantly fantastic attitude. Something that goes across the board with these lads.
