What a performance tonight from the Ballyhaunis Bears! The lads brought energy, teamwork and plenty of big basketball moments on their home court. 💙🐻

A tight opening quarter with both teams trading baskets. The Bears moved the ball well and showed early defensive hustle to stay right in it. 🔁🏀

Q2 – 14:9
Huge defensive effort! The Bears applied real pressure, forced turnovers and finished strong on the break to swing momentum. 🔒⚡

Q3 – 33:17
A dominant quarter! Ballyhaunis caught fire — fast breaks, strong drives and confident shooting. Their best spell of the night. 🔥💥

Q4 – 17:17
Smart, composed basketball to close it out. The Bears controlled the tempo and matched Carrick score for score to seal the win. ⏳✔️

Hard luck to The Ballyhaunis Bears who took to the court last Tuesday night to take on The Ballina Braves in their first LLR league match.

The performance from all players was incredible and a massive effort by our Bears! The first quarter was a great quarter for our Bears who ended the first quarter 21-17 points. The second quarter was tight between both teams, Ballina came back at the Bears and the Bears ended the second quarter with one point ahead 38-37 points.

The third and fourth quarters were full on and fast paced. The Bears never gave up and played their hardest to the last moment. Ballina managed to take a slight lead in the third and fourth quarter which gave Ballina the win in the end.

Final score Ballina Braves: 89
Ballyhaunis Bears: 74

Well done to the Ballyhaunis Bears for their valiant efforts.
