Since getting these parallettes I’ve found myself training statics a lot more frequently!! The elbow lever was one of the firsts calisthenics skills I learned and it’s still one of my favourite skills to do to this day 💪🏻

Actually making good progress towards my goals for this year... I already mentioned that I want to get full front lever, another goal is I want to get my bench working weight up to 80kg. 🎯

This is 72kg. I’m now up to 3 sets of 12 RPE 8.5/9... I’m happy with how smooth the bar is moving so time to move the weight up me thinks 💪🏻

Haven’t done a pike push handstand in well over a year... combination of neglecting my skills training and the fact that the roof of the home gym is too low to do it inside 😂

Pretty happy that I can still press up considering the weight increase 😅 just goes to show that a combination to weight training AND calisthenics/bodyweight training allows you to simultaneously get bigger and still maintain relative strength 💪🏻

Weighted ring dips getting stronger 👌🏻

Any exercise on rings is a step up from regular bodyweight movements. The instability of the rings greatly increases the difficulty of the exercise and forces your body to be controlled about the movement.

Think about it... you can get away with doing sloppy dips on p-bars because the bars won’t move, but rings aren’t as forgiving 😂
