One year of fun, friendship, and GAA — our Ballyboughal All-Stars are celebrating their 1st Anniversary this weekend! 🟢⚪⭐

What started 12 months ago as an idea to make GAA fully inclusive in our community has turned into one of the most rewarding hours of the week. Seeing our All-Stars take the pitch with huge smiles, growing confidence, and genuine love for the game makes the whole club proud.

Sunday morning championship football heads to St. Anne’s Park! Our Men’s Junior squad are back in action this weekend for their second Championship group fixture against Raheny. 🟢⚪

Every point is crucial as the lads look to push on in the group and keep the momentum building.

🟢 WHAT A DAY! THANK YOU, BALLYBOUGHAL! 🟢

Looking back on Saturday’s Clubhouse Grand Opening, it is safe to say it was truly one of the greatest and most memorable days in the history of Ballyboughal GFC! 🏛️✨

From the juvenile matches kicking things off to the final notes of live music, the energy, pride, and community spirit on display across the grounds were incredible. We were beyond proud to officially open the doors and showcase our fantastic new facilities—a home built by this community, for this community.

Our Volunteers & Organisers: To everyone who spent weeks planning, stewarding, setting up pitches, managing parking, and keeping everything running seamlessly from start to finish.

The return of the Battle of the Regions Tug o' War absolutely lived up to the hype! After some fierce battles and incredible parish rivalry, huge congratulations to The Road, who dug deep, held the line, and took the trophy home this year! 🥇💪

This clubhouse marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Ballyboughal GFC. Thank you all for making Saturday a day we will never forget.

Boughal, the day we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! Throw on your green and white and join us for a historic day of community, sport, and celebration as we officially open our new Ballyboughal GFC Clubhouse.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: PARKING NOTICE FOR ALL ATTENDEES

We are expecting a huge crowd today and onsite parking is EXTREMELY limited. Please ensure the safety of our players, children, and visitors by following these guidelines:

🚶 WALK or CYCLE IF YOU CAN: If you live locally, please help us by walking or cycling up to the grounds.

🅿️ PARK ELSEWHERE IN THE VILLAGE: Please park your car safely in the village and walk the short distance to the entrance gate.

❌ CARS AT CLUB GROUNDS: Please do not attempt to park cars at the club entrance or grounds unless you have been explicitly directed by a steward (e.g., for accessibility or drop-off).

🚷 DO NOT BLOCK ENTRANCES: Do not block any resident entrances or local roads.

With a huge turnout expected for the official opening of our brand-new clubhouse this Saturday, August 29th, we want to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely for all families, players, and visitors.

⚠️ Clubhouse Parking Will Be Extremely Limited on the Day.

To help us keep access clear and safe:

🚶 Walk or Cycle where possible: If you live locally in or around the village, we kindly ask that you take a short stroll up to the grounds.

🚗 Carpool: If travelling by car, please consider carpooling with friends, teammates, or neighbours.

🅿️ Alternative Parking: Please utilize parking elsewhere in the village and avoid blocking local residents, narrow roads, or emergency access routes.

🦺 Follow Stewards: Please follow the directions of our club stewards and volunteers on arrival.
