We would like to take a moment to appreciate and congratulate Courtney on competing at the World Championships in Chicago at Easter🤍 Representing her school and her region, she danced her very best and truly left it all on the stage at her first Worlds. So proud of this achievement ✨

Courtney has officially completed her final class and is now heading to the World Championships in Chicago 🤍
She’s focused, prepared, and ready to take on the biggest stage.

We are so incredibly proud of Courtney as our first World qualifier. The work she’s put in to get here has been outstanding, and this is such a special moment for everyone involved.

Wishing Courtney the very best in Chicago. We’ll be cheering her on every step of the way 🌍✨

🌟 Meet Rebecca! 🌟
This weeks student spotlight is on Rebecca Morrison age 12!
Rebecca has been dancing with Lorraine McMahon Academy of Irish Dance for the past 4 years! ☘️
Her favourite dance is the Easy Reel and she loves getting to class to see her friends every week! ❤️
We are so proud of Rebecca in this class and all the hard work she puts in, we love seeing her come to class every week! 🥇

Meet Lorraine - passionate teacher, champion dancer and dedicated mentor. Her mission? Helping each dancer shine from their very first step. Lorraine was a champion Irish dancer. She won many All Ireland medals and World Championship medals. She enjoyed her time achieving top podium places at all major competitions including National and Great Britain Championships. She passed her T.C.R.G (teachers exam with C.L.R.G Comisiun le Rinci Gaelacha) in December 2012 and founded the McMahon Academy of Irish Dance in her own studio in Ballybofey. Some dancers from her academy have reached Championship level and others dance purely for fun. Dancing is her passion. Most important to her are the memories, feelings and friendships that she has made in the world of Irish Dance. Her mission is to create a positive, funn-filled and safe environment for the children in her class.
