Ballybay Beagles The Music of the Hounds:

Another Drink My bar man friend,
for I have another verse. To tell of my dreams and passions,
its called the Huntsman's curse.

Alas my mind will never settle,
to the highest hill I am bound. Now how can I explain the joy
of the music of the Hound. The north wind blows upon you,
and the mist drips from your nose. A hand tight on a holly stick,
the biting numb on your toes. A Faint whisper of an opening cry,
everyman stops, the heart pounds. Now how can I explain the joy
of the music of the Hounds. Now full song the h

untsmen stand,
within the sound they feel. Every turn and every mark
not to everyone appeal. The north wind now forgotten,
the curse has come around. Now how can I explain the joy
of the music of the hounds. The quarry lost the huntsman cry
nearly another forgotten call. Every dog now knows its duty
well... maybe not them all. Another hunt is over,
God willing all dogs are found.
