519 sign ups to our World Cup Challenge 👏🏻

Thank you to everyone who signed up for the Ballisodare United FC World Cup 2026 Challenge ⚽️

The response to our fundraiser was incredible, and we are delighted to announce that we received a record total of 519 entries.

As a result of this fantastic support, we have increased the overall prize fund from €500 to €830 💰

Live Leaderboard 📊
A live leaderboard has been created and will be updated after every World Cup match, allowing participants to track their progress throughout the tournament.

1st Place – €250
2nd Place – €100
3rd Place – €80
4th Place – €70
5th Place – €60
6th Place – €50
7th Place – €40
8th Place – €30
9th Place – €30
10th Place – €30
11th–15th Place – Prize from O'Connors Bar and Lounge

In addition, the leader after each of the following stages will receive €30:
End of Group Games – Round 1
End of Group Games – Round 2
End of Group Games – Round 3
This brings the total prize fund to €830, along with five additional prizes kindly sponsored by O’Connor’s Bar.

Teams and players have now been selected, and points are being awarded. Attached are images showing the final breakdown of team selections across each pot.

This June, Ballisodare United will host a unique 5-Day World Cup 7s Tournament, bringing together players for a week of football, fun, friendships and unforgettable memories.
