We would be very grateful for any extreme sports people to help out our G’Town surf club student with his project by filling out the below survey.

I am a first year student at Kinsale Community College and have entered a project for the BT Young Scientist Competition looking at personality traits of Irish people who participate in extreme sports.

Fantastic day for G’Town surf club at T-Bay Surf Club competition. Well done to all our members for taking part and big congratulations to our 4 medal winners. Alfie took first place in u-8, Cathal 2nd in u-12 Patrick 3rd in u-12 and Oscar 4th in the u-10’s!!!! It was an amazing day with lots of waves and plenty of sunshine. Thanks a mill to T-bay surf club for organizing a fab competition everyone had a blast.🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🤙

What an awesome competition held at GTown Surf Club yesterday. We had 29 competitors making the most of the perfect conditions and competing for some very nice prizes sponsored by Wild Side Sports, Jelly Fish Surf Shop and Jamie Knox Watersports Lessons & Surf Shop.

All competitors also received a voucher for pizza and waffles generously donated by Toto's pizza of Kinsale . We are extremely grateful to all our sponsors for helping to make this such a memorable event. The kids were buzzing and the atmosphere on the beach for the whole event was amazing. Thanks also to our amazing judges Colm Doyle, Cian O Mahony, Aaron Young and Rob. They did a tremendous job in the heat, judging for 4 hours straight.
