5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer is set to return to Ballincollig parkrun tomorrow. A community-based initiative, 5k Your Way encourages those living with and beyond cancer, families, friends and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5k Your Way parkrun event on the last Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcome – all ages and abilities – and you can do as little, or as much as you want!

Unfortunately 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer won’t be at Ballincollig parkrun this Saturday, or the last Saturday of October. But we hope to be back on the last Saturday of November, with a few more layers. 🥶

If you’ve been thinking about taking that first step to starting, or getting back to physical activity, there’s never been a better time. Parkwalk has returned to Ballincollig parkrun , and everyone of all abilities is welcome. Check out the post below.

We are so excited to finally announce the re-launch of 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer in Cork! 🙌🏻

On Saturday, June 25th, Ballincollig 5k Your Way group invites those living with and beyond cancer, their families, friends, and those working in cancer services, to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer with us at Ballincollig parkrun.

Exercise has so many benefits for people living with and beyond cancer, and we encourage everyone, of all ages and abilities to take part, doing as little, or as much as you want. 🚶‍♀️ 🏃🏼‍♂️ 🤸‍♀️

Move Charity Founder and cancer rehab specialist Gemma will be leading a live workout! With special guest Caroyln Garritt, our very own Southwark ambassador and also a cancer rehab specialist.

There will also be a chair based option included.
