Lakewood Tennis Club was founded in 1988 and has been thriving ever since. Come join us, we're open! Lakewood Tennis Club is always open to new members.

We have a very active junior, competitive and social tennis club. Club nights (which are open to all abilities) are every Wednesday and every Friday from 8pm to 10pm. Junior coaching takes place on Sunday mornings for ages from 5 to teens, with 3 coaches taking each session:
Beginners - 10-11am
AIntermediate - 11am-12noon
Advanced - 12noon-1pm

We also have group coaching for adult beginners - so there has never been a better time to take up tennis - a sport for life!

A great turn out for our Wednesday Night Social Tennis, and some great friendly matches to watch and play. Reminder to all members that our Social Tennis Nights run weekly from 8 - 10pm on Wednesday and Friday. Our Wednesday nights are for players of all levels, while our Friday nights are tailored for towards beginners. We hope to continue seeing you all there and welcome any new faces in the future.

Well done to all the winners and runner ups in the finals today. Thank you to all the volunteers and organisers who made the tournament run as smoothly as it did. Amarenco Lakewood Senior Open BBQ on Friday night. Enjoy match viewing, beers, 🍺 vino 🍷 with your steak, burgers and salads galore. Peter will fire 🔥 up at approx 7-8 pm. Hope to see you there we plan to sit outside till late so bring a fleece. Any one who plays guitar bring it along we might brave a sing song 🎵… 🎾🎾🍷🍷🎉🎉

Reminder that the entries for our Senior Open are closing today at 12:00 pm, so this is your last chance to get your names in.

Additionally we would like to remind you that players in Band 1 and 2 are able to play in both the Lakewood and Sundays Well tournaments.
