Welcome to Ballinasloe Golf Academy & Driving Range.

We have a brand new state of the art facility just on the outskirts of Ballinasloe, on the old Athlone Road. The facility boasts 17 bays (10 indoor) including a Pro are and 7 outdoor grass tees and a practice bunker. The outfield is over 300 yards long and has 5 target greens along with other targets. Lessons (Group or individual) are available with local PGA Pro Mark Staunton at very reasonable r

ates. Golfers or beginners of all ages are welcome to use the facility. We supply second hand clubs for use at the range free of charge for those of you who have yet to purchase your own clubs. There is a coffee room with a viewing area overlooking the bays with drinks and refreshments available. Facilities:

-State of the Art Floodlighting
-Pro Room for Lessons
-Targets, Chipping Nets and 5 Target Greens
-Coffee Room with a Viewing Area
- The range has two new state of the art automated tees in two of the indoor bays. (No extra charge- first come first served basis)

Ballinasloe Golf Academy is located in the Birchgrove area on the old Athlone road, 5 minutes outside Ballinasloe. Ideally located, just 4 minutes of exit 14 of the M6 motorway. An ideal opportunity to take a break for anyone travelling anywhere between Dublin and Galway. We are also only 15 minutes from Athlone. The facility is open 364 days a year from 8.30am-10pm from April - Sept and 8.30am - 9pm from October - March and is fully automated and is floodlit to the highest standards. Please note that the Junior lessons will take place in the Driving Range on Tuesday evenings from 5pm – 9pm from October 1st . Most indoor bays will be occupied so there will be very limited space for during these hours.

The driving range is booked from 5pm -9pm every Tuesday evening until the end of the year for junior lessons. Only the outdoor bays are available during these times.

Our deepest Condolences to Angela, Jason, Hazel, Maggie and all the Kenny family on the sad passing of Sean. RIP

As a mark of respect to our neighbours the driving range will be closed from 4pm tomorrow evening and will not reopen until Friday morning.

The car park at the Driving Range will be available for anyone attending the removal tomorrow if needed.
