Mountbellew Golf Club Mountbellew Golf Course is a lovely mature parkland course, and was extended in 2008 from 9 to 18 holes. Mountbellew Golf Club is open to members and visitors.

Seniors results for Wednesday 3rd June were: Winners: Iggy O'Brienand Joe Keane. 2nd: Kevin O'Connor, Tony Mitchell, John Molloy, 3rd: Neil Lyons, Tom Conneely, Kathleen Raftery.
Ladies 18 holes stableford on 4th, 6th and 7th June was a club voucher competition.
Congratulations to the winner, Mary Dolan with a score of 33pts.
On 11th, 13th and 14th June the Ladies will play for the Lilian Cheevers Cup.

The club wishes to congratulate David Kitt on becoming the 2026 Connaught Open Stroke Play Champion on Saturday 6th June in Galway Golf. He certainly deserves to be called a champion for all the hard work he has put into supporting and promoting golf in Connaught over recent years.

The club wish to congratulate our Captain T.J. Smyth on his very successful Captain's weekend. A tremendous competition followed by an even better presentation of prizes. This proved to be an emotionally charged event given the winner Joe Clarke, who became a member in 1982, won his first major. Well done to all the winners and we wish T.J. every success for the remainder of his captaincy.
