In a weeks time the Sunbeam will make an appearance on the stages …. The first time in 10 years to be exact.. it won class 11r in 2016.. we don’t expect to get the same result with all the latest in technology ahead of us but its just to keep the old car alive, and the history it has with it , the last time the car left our yard it was to go up to Mondello Park to be on display for the First ever driver to have rallied it to be with it again , Rosemary Smith Was A gracious Lady with a passion for speed , she passed away in 2023 and we hope we can do her proud on the stages , Rosemary Smith 1937-2023

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGe9fkDhf/ … heres a few clips of the old 205 out over the last two weekends , the big bus (Fiesta) is away getting some tweeking and therefore the 205 was brought out of retirement to do a forrest rally in carrick on suir , and a tarmac rally in birr , with mechanical difficulties on both rallies it was misfortune causing an untimely end halfway through both events but the fun was had , A massive Thanks to Liam Egan Kiltormer West for sponsoring the entry for the Birr stages Rally thanks to both motor clubs for running brilliant stages and to all marshals ,volunteers , officials and medics for keeping the rallies on the road , also thanks to the navigators Darragh Mullins and Sean McCaffrey for sitting in both doing a super job on the notes ,Thanks to Tommy Flanagan for Lending me a few parts to get it out on the tarmac last minute , and Mick Mc for sorting me with rims and tyres last minute , and to Monica and Frank snr in service. Credit to Mad For Tar for video clips and anyone else that sent Pics and clips on ,, it will be out again before the year is out 🚗💨💨

Heres a few clips taken by Mad for tar rally videos from the Rally of the lakes 23 , the evo got to the end of the first day in 38th o/a and leading class 20 , with a good bit of time in hand over 2nd in the class it was all about getting to the finish and the second day ended with 23 o/a and 1st in class 20 , what a weekend it was , thanks to all marshals, timekeepers , medics and officials that helped the event run , and all those out on the stages that showed support for the team , also thanks to the lads in service and Chloe Kelly on the notes 👌🏻 also thanks to our sponsors who really without them none of us would have been there , Vms hire nationwide , allpro services , hr world parther , Ballinasloe Tyre Centre , Eye To Eye photography and greine contracts , New Sponsors Welcome To Come On Board For The Donegal International Rally In June , get in touch with us if you would like your business involved 💪🏻💪🏻

Thanks to mad for tar rally videos for the clips from the west cork rally at the weekend , after a slow start to the rally with a few mistakes thrown in and a broken rear drive shaft on ss3 we were down as far as 92nd over all at one point , but in the never quit attitude we reset ourselves for the Sunday stages and by god they were wet , anyway from stage 9 up until clutch failure on the very last stage we climbed from 73rd from the start of the Sunday stages to 46 on the second last stage and were sitting with 3rd in class , looking forward to our next outing in the itrc in killarney, , thanks to everyone that has supported us so far and to all that helped in service , all the marshals, time keepers and emergency services , and all involved with the running of a super event , thanks also to Chloe Kelly who done a super job on the notes and no doubt we will be pushing even harder in Killarney “keep the revs up”

Heres a few stages from the galway international rally , stage 1 was dry but car had an intermittent miss-fire which gradually got worse in the following stages , stage 7 was a repeat of stage 1 then but it was realised a bit into the stage that we were in a “rwd evo” thats quite saucy on a damp road 🤗 stage 12 then was the first run over the black road , first bit was slow but picked up the pace a bit as best we could , enjoy ,,, see you all in cork , Frank

Galway 22v Galway 23 … history repeats we ended up back in a rwd car in the end 🤣 we hit the diff in the evo and no amount of prayers got it over the finish line but we had our fun and thats all that matters 😂😂😂 ...

Only a few more days and she will be crackling on the galway international rally , praying for rain 🌧️ it mite benefit the 4wd cars but either way hail rain or shine we aim to give it our best and make it to the finish, its gonna be a long haul in the tarmac championship but we hope to enjoy it along the way , call over and say hi in scrutiny and service and above all enjoy the rally 🚗💨💨💨🏁🏁

So thats the crystal got for 1st in class 20 in the top part 2022 rally championship, what started off a disastrous year turned into a productive one , 5 events started in the evo and a top 3 finish in the class in each of those events , thanks to all at Top Part and for the organisers of each of the rounds of the championship, thanks to all our sponsors and everyone that supported us throughout the year , and most importantly maurice md of Vmshirenationwide for making it all a reality , see you all on the stages for the first round of our tarmac championship campaign in galway on the first weekend of February 🚗💨💨

Happy new year to all our followers, in just 4 weeks time you will get to see us out on the stages again for the Galway International Rally 2023, it will be the 6th outing in the evo for Sean and myself and we are looking forward to getting stuck into the first round of our ITRC campaign.. “keep the revs up”
