Ireland experienced variable weather conditions over the past week, with periods of heavy rain and fresh winds. While the rain improved angling conditions on a number of smaller spate river systems, salmon angling remained on the slow side for most of the time.

A growing number of chefs are joining WildFish's 'Off the Table' campaign, which began in Scotland and has since expanded across the world as more chefs remove farmed salmon from their menus.

Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder co-run Hartnett Holder & Co at the luxury hotel Lime Wood in Hampshire, while Angela also directs her Michelin-starred London restaurant, Murano.

They have signed an open letter urging fellow chefs to remove farmed salmon from their menus. ✍🏻
