🕯️💚 WAVE OF LIGHT – REMEMBERING OUR LITTLE STARS 💚🕯️
Each year, Féileacáin (Butterflies) organises the Wave of Light on 15th October to remember and honour babies who died during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after. Families and communities across Ireland are invited to light a candle at 7pm in loving memory of all the little lives lost too soon.
As part of this special evening, Ár Réaltaí Beaga (Our Little Stars) is inviting GAA clubs across the country to light up their clubhouses in remembrance. Ár Réaltaí Beaga was established to create a permanent memorial in Croke Park for babies and children who are no longer with us, giving bereaved families a lasting place for their little ones within the GAA community.
Ballaghaderreen GAA Club warmly invites everyone to join our Wave of Light, lighting candles in loving memory of all the precious babies and children who are forever in our hearts. 🕯️
This date is especially meaningful to our club as we also remember CJ McCann on his anniversary. 🌈
Come along as we gather as a community to remember and honour the lives of our little stars, who may be gone from our arms but will remain forever in our hearts. ❤️

🕖 Time: 6:45pm (candle lighting at 7pm)
🕯️ Candles will be available on the night, or please feel free to bring a candle that is symbolic to you and your loved one.
After the candle lighting, everyone is invited to stay for a cup of tea and a chat. ☕❤️
Whether you are remembering your own little one, supporting a loved one, or simply wishing to show your support, everyone is welcome.
