Balbriggan Cricket Club Senior Cricket club located in Balbriggan. Male, Female & kids teams for all ages and abilities 🔵🏏

Balbriggan Cricket Club is based in the heart of Balbriggan and has 4 Senior Men’s teams , 2 Senior Women’s Teams , A Social cricket team and a big underage section of boys and girls teams for all ages. The Men’s and Women’s Adult Senior teams range from Premier league level down to the lowest league so if you are interested in joining you can be sure we will have a team that suits your playing le

vel. We have excellent facilities with top class wickets and nets and you will find people practising most days of the week. The underage set up in Balbriggan is thriving , our ground and nets is a hive of activity every day from April to Sept in Balbriggan Town Park when underage coaching and Practice takes place. Kids from 4 years up can come along and experience cricket and will learn how to play the game with our experienced coaches. We also go to the local schools to teach kids the basics of the game during Jan, Feb and March

A massive well done to our Girls u11 team who finished second in the Leinster North League !!!

It was the girls first league season and the hard work by the players and coaches all winter paid off as they hit the ground running in 2026 , a massive thanks to coaches Lara , Tess , Julia and Courtney and manager Ellen and all the parents for their support and help.

The girls will be back at it in our indoor centre in a few weeks and raring to go when the 2027 season comes along 💯👍🔵

Our Women’s 1st Team wrapped up their season yesterday with a win to claim second in the Premier League for 2026.

Our women’s section is just 5 years old and the progress and growth has been excellent and our girls section is also growing well as we build for the future and a successful sustainable women’s Section.

Our Women’s 2s have one more game left after a tough season but given the amount of youth players in the side and how much they have improved over the season , there is lots to be positive about.

A huge thanks to Coach Chuka Uba , Manager Craig Knight , Scorer and all round Legend Tatum and our Captains Lara Maritz and Erin Knight.

It was a great day at our Family Day and Drone Drop , a great turn out of families and Senior Players and there was loads of games , food drink and plenty of laughs!!

The European T20 Premier League (ETPL) kicked off today , its live every day on TNT and today’s game has been a great game.

It’s a tournament that is giving Irish , Scottish and Dutch cricketers the opportunity to play at a higher level in an annual competition against some of the best players in the world. If the men’s competition goes well , hopefully a women’s comp will follow.

Games will be in Malahide for the second half of the comp and going to a game should great a great experience. More details at https://www.etplofficial.com/
