Platinum Gyms Balbriggan opened this day 11 years ago! This year won't go down as one of the more memorable ones but we have weathered the storm and are looking forward to 2021. Thank you to all our current and past members for making both gyms what they are today. A particular mentioned must be given to Ciaran Cummins, Ger Gill and Leona Fynes who joined the gym in Balbriggan as part of a pre-sale (before we opened in 2009) and are still members 11 years later! To mark this milestone we are giving these three members 30 free gym credits.

We are delighted to announce that the gyms will reopen next Tuesday, 1 December 2020. The booking system is now live so please book early as we expect to be very busy. Unfortunately, Level 3 does not permit indoor classes so we will have to wait a little longer for classes to return.

We look forward to welcoming you all back next week.

Hi all,

Unfortunately we close again tomorrow evening for a further 6 weeks. Please note that you will get back any credits you have already used to book slots over this 6 week period. Also, we will extend your expiry date by 6 weeks if you run out of time to use your credits when we reopen.

Rest assured we will be back open again as soon as permitted. Stay safe and follow the guidelines.

Hi all.

Unfortunately there are no gym classes in Malahide or Balbriggan for at least 3 weeks following the move to Level 3 in Dublin. If you have booked classes you will get back the credits that you used.

Hi all,

Face coverings are now mandatory in the gym in Malahide.
However, you can remove your mask when using cardio equipment as it is well spaced out. We understand this is not an ideal situation in a gym but we feel it is necessary to protect both members and staff. This policy is in response to the rise in cases across Dublin and considering how busy the gym is. As soon as the virus is back under control this requirement will be removed, hopefully in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Masks are not required in Balbriggan at present but this might change.

Please work with us so we can keep each other safe and the gyms open.

Hi all,

Just a quick update following the most recent restrictions announced by the Government on Tuesday this week. Unfortunately we have had to cancel Pilates and Hot Yoga as both are not viable with just 6 people in the studio. We will reintroduce both as soon as possible. Other gym classes will go ahead with just the 6 in the room and can be booked using the app.

The gym is still open and we would ask you all to please continue to follow the rules so everyone can continue to train safely.

First day back! Nice to see all the happy and familiar faces and a few new ones too. Every one followed all our new COVID guidelines and all went swimmingly. Oh one thing guys, if you book in you have 3 hour to cancel before class without forfeiting your payment. But if you realise you can't make it please try to cancel, we had 3 people who didn't show, no biggie but that means there was 3 empty spaces today that people on the waiting list could have had. Well done everyone and welcome back. ❤

We are delighted to announce that our gym classes will restart next week! Malahide classes will restart on Tuesday, 21 July 2020 and our Balbriggan classes will restart on Friday, 24 July. Places are limited unfortunately so please book early using the Platinum Gyms app. Details of the various classes and start times are also available in the app.
