Congratulations to Cheddite sponsored shooter Dave Malone in winning the Irish Open DTL today. Dave shot the perfect 100/300 with his trusty Mach3s. Dave first won this trophy 37 years ago and this is his second time now to win it some 37 years later. Not many people in sport can say that. Well deserved Dave 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

***IMPORTANT MEMBERS NOTICE***

We have been advised by ESB that there will be a power outage in the area tomorrow, Thursday 17th August, from 9am to 5pm.

Unfortunately this means that the Member's Rifle Range will be unavailable for use, as will most of the Clay Ranges that are controller-operated. There will be a limited number of clay stands available along the front layout that are battery operated, however there will not be any in use along the tunnel, and only pre-paid clay cards will be operational. Purchases of ammunition or accessories will also be cash only until the power returns.

The Member's Pistol range will fortunately still be available for use and slots for this can be booked online via the website as usual.

At present, the outage is scheduled for the entire day, however it is possible that power may be returned earlier than expected. If you want to come out to shoot either rifle or clays tomorrow, please contact us on the day via email ([email protected]), and we will update you as to the ongoing situation. It is extremely unlikely that we will have power returned before the afternoon at the earliest however.

We have been in undated with calls and messages this week about cartridge availability. We are currently out of stock. We have an order ready to be collected in Italy but we have a problem with the Ferry from Cherbourg -> Rosslare. It is out action at present which is causing a massive delay for all Irish importers bringing Ammo in from Italy. Hoping to have the issued resolved ASAP so please bear with us
