Assuming each packet of crisps is around 200 calories, that's 800 additional calories per week. Now, let's zoom out and calculate the impact over a three-month period.

In just three months, those seemingly harmless packets of crisps add up to a staggering 10,000 calories! 😱 That's equivalent to more than 2 pounds of body weight, solely from this single habit.

We all know that we should be working out and eating healthy, but it's hard to stick with a routine when you don't have a strong enough reason to do it.

Most people start working out and dieting because they want to tone up and look better. It’s a great start but might not be a strong enough reason to get you through the days you’re tired or “not motivated”.

When you know why you’re exercising and adjusting your diet, it gives you more purpose and meaning. It can help you stay focused on your goals and make better choices. It can also make difficult times when you've lost some motivation easier to manage because you know there’s a bigger picture.

Below are just some of the common themes that come up when we consult with people on why they want to start an exercise and nutrition program;

When I look in the mirror or see photographs of myself it upsets me
I don’t feel like myself
None of the nice clothes I have fit me anymore
I feel uncomfortable in my skin
I’m concerned about the trajectory/path I am on and where it finishes (health)
I’m embarrassed about the shape I have gotten into
Day to day activities feel far too laboured
I’ve lost the pep in my step - I just feel flat and lethargic
This current state is having a negative impact on my, confidence, self worth, relationships, health, career, family
I’m struggling to play with my kids and/or be a healthy role model for them
