To everyone who took part in Athy Half 2026, thank you.

Whether you ran the Half Marathon, 10K or 5K, cheered from the sidelines, volunteered or supported the event in any way, you helped make this year's Athy Half one to remember.

From the atmosphere at the start line to the celebrations at the finish, it was an incredible day, and we're so grateful you chose to be part of it.

A huge thank you also to our volunteers, marshals, sponsors, local businesses and the Athy community for making the event possible.

Tomorrow, we'll be welcoming you to Athy for what promises to be an incredible day of running, community and achievement.

Travel safely, get a good night's sleep, and don't forget to read the Race Briefing Document one last time before you set off. It contains everything you need to know for race day.

Just 2 days to go! 🏃

As race day gets closer, here's a quick reminder of a few important things to keep in mind while you're out on the course.

➡️ Keep left at all times and follow the instructions of our marshals and Gardaí.

💧 Water will be available at the water station on the Distributor Road junction, so make sure to stay hydrated.

🎧 We recommend leaving the headphones at home so you can soak up the incredible atmosphere and hear any important instructions along the route.

Most importantly, enjoy every kilometre and have an amazing race!
