🏊♀️ Connacht & Leinster Regional Age Group Championships 🏊♂️
📍 University of Limerick | 8–10 May
Athlone Swimming Club had a fantastic weekend of racing with 7 swimmers competing across 18 heats and 13 finals, delivering strong performances at regional level.
🌟 Highlights:
🥇 Gold Medal for Max (400m Freestyle)
🥉 Bronze Medal for Saoirse (200m Freestyle)
🥈 Silver Medal for our Girls 13–14 400m Freestyle Relay team
💥 14 Personal Bests achieved
👏 We had 6 swimmers across 13 finals, with Nicole, Kate, Saoirse, Max, Feidhlim and Maja all achieving top 10 finishes.
🥈 Our relay team of Kate, Maja, Nicole and Saoirse delivered a fantastic swim to secure silver medals.
💪 Saoirse delivered a superb series of swims with multiple finals, while Max led the team with a standout gold medal performance.
👏A special mention also to Holly on her 50m Freestyle PB.
👏 Well done to all swimmers who represented the club with pride: Max, Saoirse, Kate, Nicole, Feidhlim, Holly and Maja.
