TUS has received almost €180,000 to upgrade existing sports facilities on its Athlone campus to the 'highest FIFA certification level'. The funding, awarded via Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, will see the replacement of an artificial soccer pitch and upgrade of its floodlights.
