We were delighted and honoured to sponsor the 1st youths race of Wicklow SC open water season. The relationship between our two clubs is quite a special and unique one. We have many swimmers and families who are or have been involved in both clubs and over the years we have built a strong connection through a shared love of swimming. Well done to all who swam and the winners!

Swim Ireland Performance is delighted to release details on the Regional Programme for 2026-2027!

The Swim Ireland Regional Programme provides progressive and targeted support
to identified athletes as they develop both personally and as performance athletes.

The programme forms part of a national pathway designed to support the development
of Irish aquatic talent from regional level through to senior international success.

The Regional Programme sits directly below the National Programme and is aligned in
both its principles and content. Together, these programmes form a coherent national
pathway that supports athletes and coaches in delivering performance outcomes.

Day 1- Connacht & Leinster Age Group Championships

World Para Series- Day 1 Maya qualified for the Youth Final of 100m Fly with a new PB and finished in 5th Place overall. She also had great swims securing another two PBs in the 100 Free and 200IM. Sam also had a great swim in the 100 Free heats. Well done 👏

The very best of luck to Maya, Sam and Team Ireland as they travel to Berlin, Germany to compete in the Para Swimming World Series.

Maya will be competing in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Butterfly and 200IM.

Sam will be competing in the 100 Free, 100 Back and 100 Butterfly.
