We would like to extend our congratulations to Under 11 players Caoimhin Og O’Callaghan and Oisin Sharkey, who made their first appearance for the Under 11 EPT squad at the weekend. This marks an excellent achievement in their development, and we look forward to seeing their continued progress within the club.

U10 Red kicked off later on Sunday morning and produced some excellent football throughout the tournament. 🔴⚽

The lads showed great skill, determination, and teamwork in every game, earning their place in the Trophy Final. Despite a strong performance, they narrowly missed out on the trophy, finishing as runners-up after a fantastic day’s football.

A tremendous effort from all the players, who represented the club brilliantly from start to finish. Well done, lads – plenty to be proud of! 👏🔴⚽

U10 Green had an early start Sunday in Torro, kicking off at 9am. ⚽💚

The team played an incredible 7 matches throughout the morning, showing great determination, teamwork, and skill. After a fantastic run, they narrowly missed out in the Shield semi-final, but bounced back brilliantly to win the 3rd/4th place play-off comfortably.

A great morning of football for the squad, with plenty of positive performances and memories made. Well done to all the players for their effort and attitude throughout the tournament! 👏💚⚽

Square United U12s – Ciarán Casey Cup 2026

Square United U12s enjoyed a fantastic day of football at the Ciarán Casey Cup in Bellurgan today, taking a welcome break from league action over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The boys were drawn in Group 2 alongside Bellurgan Athletic, Bellurgan Celtic and Rock Celtic. Two wins from their three group matches saw Square United finish second in the group and secure a place in the Cup semi-final.

In the semi-final, the boys faced a strong Bellurgan United side and were unfortunate to suffer a narrow 1-0 defeat. It was an outstanding performance from the team, who battled for every ball and worked tirelessly for one another throughout the game. They were unlucky to concede from a breaking ball that fell kindly at the back post, but the effort, determination and teamwork on display could not be faulted.

Across the entire tournament, the boys played some excellent football and produced some great victories along the way. Their attitude, commitment and team spirit were evident throughout the day, making it a hugely positive experience for everyone involved.

A great day out for the squad, with plenty of positives to take from the tournament. Well done to all the players for representing Square United so proudly. 🟢⚫️🟢⚫️

U9 Green team also represented Square United in the Torro tournament. They eventually came up against a strong Torro team in the semi final of the shield and were narrowly defeated in a penalty shoot out. Hard luck lads a great day of super performances to be proud of! 🟢⚫️🟢⚫️

U9 Red team competed in the Torro Tournament this weekend. Great performances in the group stages put them into the cup semi final. They came up against Trim Celtic in the semi final and were beaten by the narrowest margin 4:3. Great team performance well done 🟢⚫️🟢⚫️
