Curtins Londis Adare 10k 2026:

Thank you and well done to everyone who ran and supported in Adare today at the West Limerick Athletics Club annual flagship event and fundraiser, the Curtins Londis Adare 10k.

This year's race which sold out in record time within hours of entries going live in October, was once again a huge success.

We would like to thank all our sponsors for their support of the 2026 event, and especially our main sponsor Curtin's Londis.

Another heartfelt thanks goes to all of the organisers who worked tirelessly over the last few months to make this event happen, and finally to the volunteers and the Gardai who helped it all come together on the day!

We had over 800 finishers on the day. We had two new winners of our race , both from Co.Cork.

Paul Moloney, Mallow A.C. , was first in a time of 30:59.

Sinead O Connor, Leevale A.C. , was first in a time of 35:55.

The men's podium positions were filled by Ibrahim Ahmed Samow, Ennis Track , 31:35. Niall Shanahan, An Bru AC , 31:38. They had a very close battle in the closing stages.

The ladie's podium positions were filled by two past winners and our club members, Carolyn Hayes 38:02 and Amy Murphy 39:12. Carolyn Hayes won the Corn na mBan.

There were countless pb's throughout the race finishers and our pacing teams all deserve huge credit for their work in helping people achieve their goal times.

We hope to see everyone again on the last Sunday in February 2027 😀
