The news we’ve been waiting forever to share…..

We can announce now after much secrecy from Warner Bros that our very own player Callum OHagan has joined the cast of ‘The Batman Part 2’ as Bruce Wayne’s sidekick, the new superhero known as Pintman!

Congratulations Callum and we wish you all the best fighting crime in Gotham (Glasgow)!!

The Tangs 1 - 10 Gotham FC

Hearing serious reports that the Bats are back👀

Sunny Sundays, post match pints and a Gotham win, what more could you want?

We travelled to Cavalry Park to play the Tangs where we showed how improved the team has gotten. The Pintman opened the scoring after the BagsMann scored once again before a Macca goal rounded off the half.

Second half we turned up the heat after a few strong subs and an early Harry Fraser goal (Mr Player of the Year to you) Macca then shamelessly claimed an own goal as his own.

Then the earth shook. A shadow fell across the Tangs. The clouds gathered and Gavin Tulloch walked onto the pitch. What followed was nothing short of spectacular. Three of the cleanest hit goals ever struck (lies) hit the back of the Tangs net briefly interrupted by a ‘Louis goal’ (another deflection shamelessly claimed).

Man of the match is Gavin ‘The Train’ Tulloch who claims an inform for the trophy cabinet.

The boys are back and it’s onto the next one. Good luck to the Tangs for the rest of the season and Mon the Bats 🦇

WE. ARE. BACK.

The Bats were back in action against a massively improved Links Alba team today for our first run out of the season. We stamped authority early on in the first half with a few chances brilliantly saved by the Links keeper who played a blinder all game, so it took a Finlay Mann 40 yard screamer into the top corner to put the Bats 1-0 ☄️. The end to end kept going with Links getting dangerously close to an equaliser but the Gotham defence was locked in today with the Links defence nullifying our own attacks at the same time.

Second half young Harry Fraser twisted and turned like a corkscrew and, just like Maicon in the 2010 World Cup against North Korea, slammed a ball from the byline into the top corner (it was a cross gone awry). The Links pressure kept mounting and after a soft penalty shout 👀 they brought the score to 2-1 and pressure to us. Cometh the hour and the Mann from midfield again rockets another shot into the bottom corner for his brace and the match. Cobwebs gone and match sharpness back against a tough Links team focus on the Tangs next week we go again. Good luck to Links for the rest of the season 💚

Sunday inching closer and closer. Links Alba whispering in scared voices about the threat of The Pintman. Finlay and Ross deciding on who gets to be prime Zidane and who gets to be prime Kante. Captain Louis already fixing his hair for the title lift. DMoney and Hazza crafting their hyperlink. Mullan dusting off the suit to keep his stellar managerial record. Adam currently googling if you can wear shoe lifts in boots. Stewart pricing a Bat symbol hair dye. Season start can’t come quick enough.

It’s almost time. New season, new faces, same philosophy of put the ball in one end and don’t let it go in the other end. Leagues confirmed and teams prepared, Jenson More pricing up an open top bus through corstorphine and DMoney already planning a diet and spray tan for the trophy lift. More to follow. 🦇🦇🦇

The Bats are back in play tomorrow facing off against South Gyle Rovers in another attempt to brush off the cobwebs and prepare for the season. Few new players and a few old faces ready to start as we mean to go on 🏆 🔜 😮‍💨

Thanks to the Tangs for a good game. Goals from Sean E (for both teams) Callum, Liam and Rory shook the cobwebs off the boys.

Big thanks to the boys who came for a trial gelled in and played well.
