Even though I’m on holiday, I’m still trying to get in a session every other day.

I keep finding hidden, and not so hidden, gems around Bali.
active is a great gym with modern, well maintained equipment and friendly staff.

I didn’t check out the full facilities on offer.. but recommend you do.

To my team….. One day of going crazy isn’t going to set back any of your progress or goals so back away from google sheets, log off kauhuna or mycoach and FSS uninstall Myfitness Pal 🤭, leave the mealprep in the back of the fridge and have an awesome day.

Train if you must (I know I will 🤷‍♂️) but remember today is a day of joy, sharing, family and presence (not presents 🎁). If you are away from friends, family and loved ones, know you are not alone and you are special to us ❤️

What a season. What an athlete!!

Fiona has just wrapped up one of the most demanding competition runs anyone could take on. Hong Kong, Sydney, Wellington, Auckland, and now Milan. Five shows across two continents in seven months. Every time she stepped on stage she looked sharper, more polished, and more confident.

Today she closed out her season in Milan with first call outs in both categories and a FIFTH place finish in all of Europe. These were big line ups, stacked with serious talent, and she held her own from the first comparison to the last. She listens, she applies, she works, and she shows up better every single time. That is what builds a real athlete.

A huge special mention to and her posing coach . We reckon she finally nailed that front pose and it showed under those Milan lights.

Now she gets a well earned break before we set our sights on 2026.

A massive shout out to our honorary team captain Hayden Clark for handling backstage chaos, sending through every photo, and keeping the energy high. You definitely earned that t shirt mate.

Fiona, we are incredibly proud of you. This season was huge and you rose to every challenge. Enjoy Italy, enjoy the food, enjoy the moment. You deserve it.

What a weekend. What a season!

Two incredible women closing out their seasons with so much heart and determination.

Naomie placed 2nd in Master Fit Model and 3rd in Master C Fit Model at the NZIFBB Tournament of Champions in Palmerston North.

Rachel took 1st in Runway, 1st in Swimsuit Pro, and 4th in Bikini Pro at ICN Oceania in Christchurch.

It’s been a long road for both of them. Naomi stepped on stage in Hong Kong earlier this year for her very first IFBB show, pushing herself into new territory and holding her own amongst an incredible line-up.

Rachel earned her Pro card not once but twice this season, then backed it up with her Pro debut…. showing what happens when consistency and a cunning master plan collide.

I’m beyond proud of them both. Of the work, the growth, and the way they’ve carried themselves through it all.

What I love most about this job is getting to guide and support athletes of all ages, experiences, and federations as they chase their dreams. Every journey looks different, but the pride I feel is the same.

Love what I do, and even more, love those I get to do it with. 💛

And just like that… my first bodybuilding season comes to an end 💫

From stepping on stage for the very first time to standing proudly at Nationals, this journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Winning the overall title at Regionals was a dream come true, but what truly made it special was everything I learned along the way.

At NZ Natural Nationals, I was honoured to earn 1st place in my class and to have the opportunity to fight for my pro card among such inspiring athletes. Then, at the Non-Tested Nationals, placing 3rd in a lineup of incredible women was both humbling and deeply motivating. Each show reminded me of the beauty of hard work, passion, and resilience.

I’m endlessly grateful for my coach .bold, (our team mom), and my posing coach Rhi - your wisdom, patience, and support have shaped me in ways words can’t express. To all the amazing athletes who became friends and to my loved ones who cheered for me every step of the way thank you for filling this journey with love and light 🤍

A huge thank you to Accentuate for my stunning handmade red suit, and to Fabulash Brows for the beautiful wispy lashes that completed my look with the perfect touch of glam. And to the Uglyface team — thank you for always encouraging me and providing the best supplements to support muscle growth, recovery, and fat loss. You’ve been a key part of this journey! 💪🏽✨

Two comps. Two cities. Two powerful women. One very proud coach.

First up was Tamzin Dunn who owned the NZIFBB Waikato stage in Te Kūiti, taking 1st in Masters Bikini. This result didn’t come easy. Tamzin has quietly put in the grind and graft every single week, completely transforming her physique through hard work, patience and self-belief. Watching that come together on show day was something special. Next up for Tamzin, NZIFBB Nationals on 25 October.

Then came Rachel Mead at ICN Nationals in Taupō, who absolutely dominated, taking 1st in Runway, 1st in Open Swimsuit, Overall Swimsuit and Pro Card, and 1st in Open Bikini, Overall Bikini and Pro Card. Everyone knows that as the OGFPC, Rachel holds a special place in my heart. We’ve shared a lot of miles together on and off stage, and seeing her continue to evolve as both an athlete and a person is something I’m endlessly proud of. She now steps into her Pro Debut at ICN Oceania on November 1st.

As a coach, there’s no greater reward than guiding athletes towards their goals and watching them rise into their potential. It’s not just about the placings, it’s about seeing their confidence grow, their belief deepen, and knowing you’ve helped them get there with the right support, structure and care.

I’m incredibly proud of both of these women and grateful to be part of their journeys.

Well it was a BIG day in the capital for the team yesterday 👀

The Joe Ulberg Classic is very personal for me. Joe and I were childhood friends and his passing in February 2024 was too raw for me to attend the inaugural show in his name.

I was honoured to attend this years comp with three incredible teammates on stage… and I couldn’t be more proud of each of them.

The growth and improvements each of these ladies have made in a year continue to leave me speechless… to me… it’s an honour and privilege to guide each of them towards their goals.

Naomie has shown such focus, consistency and drive to improve.. she’s is someone much younger athletes should aspire too. A solid showing in the masters class.. ticked all the goals set ✅

Fionas drive, competitive spirit and drive towards individual growth is truly inspiring. A true warrior, who bows down to no one. Bringing some of the best glute tie ins in the country.. Europe look out! Class B Open Champ and 3rd place Masters 🙌

Natalia; grace, muscle, balance and utter class in one incredible package. Her focus, consistency and drive was on full display yesterday. In her IFBB stage debut she brought home not one… but TWO Overall Bikini Champ Medals. 🥇🥇🙌

Each of these amazing team mates has more goals this season … and I for one can’t WAIT to see them shine again

What a weekend in Hong Kong 🇭🇰🔥

Despite some pretty tough conditions backstage, Rio, Naomie and Fiona all carried themselves like true pros, stood tall, held their composure and ALL came away with placings in their classes 👏👏👏

This show was no easy ride and we’re so proud of the resilience, grit and grace you showed on that stage when it mattered the most. Nothing could take away from the work you all put in to get there! ⭐️ 🏆

And that’s okay, just own it.
