Meet our cofounders and find out the why behind SoulSync…here’s what Alice has to say:
If you asked me about myself, I’d tell you I’m an advanced yoga and meditation teacher.
I’d tell you I’ve completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training, trained in meditation, taught classes and retreats, and spent years deepening my own practice.
But if you asked me on a deeper level…
I’d tell you that yoga became so much more to me than something I practised on a mat.
It became the place I learnt to slow down.
To listen to myself.
To sit with the parts of me I used to want to change, fix or run away from.
I’d tell you that some of the biggest shifts in my life haven’t happened in the “big” moments.
They’ve happened lying in Savasana with tears rolling down my face.
Sitting in meditation when something finally made sense.
Moving my body when my mind felt too loud.
Travelling across the world and realising how much bigger life could be.
Sitting in circles with women who started as strangers and somehow, within days, felt like people I’d known forever.
I’d tell you that I’m still learning.
Still unlearning.
Still figuring myself out.
Still having days where I feel completely connected to myself, and days where I don’t.
And maybe that’s the real reason I love creating SoulSync retreats.
Not because I want to teach people how to be “better” at yoga.
But because I know how powerful it can be to step outside of your everyday life for a few days and actually hear yourself again.
To move. To breathe. To laugh until your stomach hurts. To cry if you need to. To eat beautiful food. To have conversations that go far beyond small talk. To experience somewhere new. To rest without feeling guilty.
To remember who you are underneath all the roles you play every day.
That’s what SoulSync means to me.
And that’s the part of myself I really want you to know. 🤍
