Albania Dump 🇦🇱

The snowy mountain tops I could see from the plane were a very clean sign I wasn’t gonna do the hike I wanted to but of course I ignored it 😅

So No hike but I still ended up at my favorite spot in the whole country. Before fleeing down south again to the warmth and sunshine.

Lucky the county isn’t that big and I love bus rides..

Afro Latin Albania 💃

First ever Salsa-Bachata-Kizomba festival, jumped straight in the deep end by doing a 5day one in another country 😅

But loved every second❤️

Dancing till sunrise, the weird nap times, sweating my ass off everytime

Bali food 🇮🇩🍛
 The last time I was here, I only ate rice and fried chicken, my expectations where not high at all, but boy what was I in for a treat.🤤

2012 me didn’t like any type of spice so I survived on rice with soysause and some fried chicken, almost a cultural offense, I know.🙊

But I’ve grown and been enjoying indo food a lot at home, thanks to the colonial influences and great toko’s we have in Rotterdam.  Did Bali beat it tho? Hell YEAH!  Not just the traditional food but they did the international food also very well.
 In Indonesia you can go to a Warung, where they display all the food and you can get what ever you want, and it so cheap.  🐄Rendang: marinated beef
🐷Babi ketjap: pork in a sweet devine sauce 🐓Ayam: Chicken, in every style and delicious AF Satay Ayam: small chicken screwers with penutsauce

Or get your nasi goreng/ mie goreng ( rice of noodles with veggies and an egg) for only 20-70k IDR (2-4 euro) 
Eating at a night market is amazing but for a local experience you should head OUT of Canggu, because that where you can find all the other delicious food Like Avo on toast and smoothie bowls.

And the fitboy vibe is super real, clean, high protein dishes, choosing your own plate is kinda nice after 3 months of eating out

Fresh air, sports and structure.. The best way to deal with a jetlag. And midday naps help too😴

Starting of with powderdays and ending with blues skies, the mountains will give you the most amazing views and nothing beats seeing them from a chairlift while eating a snack🤩

Gratefull to be able to share this with my adventurous family and super excited to get my niece skiing one day

I’ll always be a last lift over a early apresski kind of girl 💜

Someone mentioned that it’s weird to realise we are doing a sport that is going to extinct😱 and now i can’t stop thinking about it

Tropical holidays

Eventho it didn’t feel like christmas, I don’t mind doing the holidays like this!

The holidays, to me, are all about friends, Family and food..

So the dinners, the beachs days and cozycouch moments fit prefectly

Super grateful to get to spend my christmas like this and celebrate NYE twice 🇮🇩🇳🇱

Learning about the different international traditions and ways of celebrating Christmas is what I like most about traveling…

The perspectives, the wishes, the resolutions and the connections

Never gonna do it in Canggu again tho🤣 the traffic😶

Real side of Bali 🤍

The pic’s that didn’t make the highlight reel but make Bali even more memorable.

And as the local celebration of Galungan has ended, with Kuningan, the Island is all about Balance.

Wanagiri 🇮🇩

Cute little hide out in the middle of the jungle and home to many beautiful waterfalls.

Only 2 hours (by 🚗) from Ubud and you’llfind this semi hidden gem.  We stayed in the Jungle and explored in between the rainshowers

Most of the Waterfalls are accessible through a short hike (10-20minutes) and by paying a small fee (50K/€2,5)   Getting there early or late in the afternoon will give you stunning views and you get to enjoy the water without heaps of tourists ruining your photo.

🍓During rain season I highly suggest to go to a strawberry farm if it rains, it’s 100K (€5) to pick as many as you want and eat them! And you also get a fresh strawberry juice too! It was a nice break from the rain and the sweating hiking in the jungle!

📷And if you’re close, hop by the temple  Pura Ulun Danu Beratan. It’s cute but not very special.

When is pretty great

Put me on an island and I’ll probably love it but I didn’t think I would like Bali this much😅

The people, the Nature, the food😍

Canggu is great for Coworking and meeting like minded people. Never been this healthy and fit while traveling😅

Ubud is more chill but they have way more Salsa socials to go to.

Nusa Penida feels like a Honeymoon and if you go scuba diving with the Manta ray’s it will be even better🤩

So far, so good.

Normandie 🇫🇷

A place I used to skipp because it would be “to cold” and not that pretty🤣🤣 I was so wrong.

Not only White cliffs and views of England but also cure little roads, perfect hiking places and surfingspots that change into Kitesurfspot too🤩

Besties road trip with the Camper, loved every second.

Lisbon is always a vibe, but this one hit different. 🇵🇹✨

3 weeks of Portuguese sun, surf, coworking and spontaneous dancing in the streets.

It’s not my first time here, but between live bands by the water, laptop sessions in the cutest cafés (airco included 🙌), and sangria nights in Alfama 🍷💃🏽 — this one’s for the books.

✨ Remote work tips from a digital nomad:
💻 Chiado is perfect: laptop-friendly cafés, less touristy, good cowork vibes
🎉 June = festival season. Music, food, dancing, culture — just step outside
🎶 Alfama for street food, live fado & unexpected parties

⛱️ Need a break from the heat?
Hop on a train to Carcavelos or Cascais. During the week it’s chill — perfect to surf, read, or just soak up the sun.

Carcavelos has that relaxed, surf-town energy 🏄🏼‍♀️🌊 (barefoot, salty hair, local lunch spots).

Cascais is more charming & classy, with cute boutiques and beautiful old streets 🏛️🌺. Pick your mood.

🎨 Creative block? LX Factory to the rescue.
Tucked under the bridge, full of color, street art & surprises.

I came for shade and aircon, stayed for 3 hours, left with a new ring, a notebook, and a full belly. No regrets.

It’s got that wander-without-a-plan magic.

Lisbon just gets the balance: work, wander & wine.
And honestly? I’m here for exactly that. 🌍💛
