Tentang Akhlis
Mulai tertarik dengan yoga sejak 7 tahun lalu karena keunikan postur dan filosofinya, Akhlis berlatih yoga tiap pekan di Taman Suropati, Jakarta Pusat, hingga kini. Baginya, yoga membantu menjaga kejernihan pikiran dan menjaga kesehatan di tengah rutinitas sedentarinya sebagai penulis. Ia belajar, berlatih dan berbagi tentang Hatha Yoga dan Ashtanga Yoga.

About Akhlis
Starting to show interest in yoga since 7 years ago thanks to its philosophical and postural uniqueness, Akhlis has begun his weekly practice at Taman Suropati, Central Jakarta, to date. To him, yoga helps maintain mind clarity and health amid his sedentary routines as a writer. He studies, practices, and shares about Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga.

Tentang “Menyelami Marichyasana A-H”
Marichyasana ialah serangkaian postur yoga yang didedikasikan untuk Marichi, salah satu dari 7 tokoh resi (Saptarishi) tersakti dalam mitologi. Sebagai orang bijak, ia diasosiasikan dengan kebijaksanaan dan kekuatan penciptaan kosmos (alam semesta). Dalam Ashtanga Yoga, terdapat 8 postur yang berkaitan dengan Marichi. Dalam kelas khusus ini, kita akan bereksperimen lebih leluasa dengan Marichyasana dari versi A hingga H dengan pendekatan yang relatif aman dan nyaman.

On “Delving into Marichyasana A-H”
Marichyasana consists of a series of yogic postures dedicated to Marichi, one of the 7 most powerful sages (Saptarishis) in the mythology. As a pundit, he is associated with wisdom and cosmic creation power. In Ashtanga Yoga, there are 8 postures related to Marichi. In the special class, we are allowed to experiment more freely with Marichyasana from A to H with a relatively safe and comfortable approach.
