I am upset and sad about people who writing reviews in internet and chat Forum without having any idea how much this damage a establishment and compromise Jobs. There are so much stables in Bali with big problems and animal abusing. Why nowbody write reviews about them? Because they are Balinese owned? Are you all scared? I am investing so much money in my horses, all we need to import, since Medicine. The Narrow profit margin don’t stop us to take good care of our horses. What me upset is, that people just write about animal abusing or that they feel upset but no clear arguments that we can answer.
1) I feel missunderstud and Bali Horse Adventure does not let me ride on theyr horses. I am not an overweight person. Don’t ride with this company…..
= yes we have a weight restriction and average of our horses can carry 80/85 Kg, one of our strong and tall horse will carry 90/93 kg for approx 3 times a week. I am sorry that we can not confirm a booking with 99 Kg. This is not a complain from our side about your body weight! The indonesian horses just can not carry that weight.
2) Don’t use this company, they will lead you by handwalked guides around, I am a beginner horse rider.
= yes this is right as most of the accident are happen while beginner horse riders get led by an guide on horse or of wrong informations about riding levels. A beginner horse rider is not confident yet and can not control the balance. As we are talking about animals there can be a situation where the horse gets scared and does a sidestep or is walking faster.
3.) Never use this business, because of animal cruelty. The horses aren’t in good shape on in condition for riders to be on them. Im disgusted in the way these horses are treated.
= What is the problem? How can we explane anything after reading such a review?? Do you mean the 23 year old mare which is hangin around in the padock after she got retired? Yes she is not that fat because she lost weight and muscles after retirement. But she is healthy enough to be alive and worked hard for us, that’s why we do not put her to sleep and we do not conceal her in the back stables!!
Or do we talk about the 2 ponys which a stable in Bali donated after he closed because of promotion in the internet that they abuse theyr horses? both still need a lot of care and food to look perfect. Or do we talk about the Carriage pony from Java which just arrived and is still skinny from working years in front of a carriage? Why nowbody ask us before making such statements public??
I will not change my personal attitude and kill, exchange or sell horses to present a perfect glamour business, which will be the most easy way to get good reviews. I will work on those horses until they are healthy and give them a better life than before. The horses we do use for Tours and lessons are all in a good condition, some of them overweight. This can be checked anytime in our stables. I dont understand people who expect 31 perfect horses because this will force stables to kill, exchange and sell just for glamour...............so so sad!!!!
