Pindito

Pindito World class liveabord diving in Indonesia Only one liveaboard dive boat has 28 years of operating experience in Raja Ampat: Pindito. See you there!

Back in 1992 Pindito’s master and owner, Edi Frommenwiler, needed to find a new destination to cover when the rainy season descended upon Komodo and the Nusa Tengarra route Pindito normally sailed. Trusting his intuition Edi took a chance and headed north from Flores by way of the Spice Islands. He had a hunch that the waters between Nusa Tengarra and the west coast of Papua (then called “Irian Ja

ya”) might hold some good diving. What he discovered on the northern end of his journey was the most biodiverse coral reef ecosystem in the world: he had discovered “Raja Ampat”. Pindito offers the most experienced and knowledgeable liveaboard operation in Raja Ampat and in Komodo. She also has unparallel experience in these UNESCO World Heritage coral reef areas. In addition, Edi and Pindito have expanded their venues with new offerings to Halmahera (“the New Frontier”) and down the west coast of Sulawesi including the Lembeh Straits and Bunaken National Marine Park. Now you can join Pindito as she sails to and dives upon the most biodiverse coral reefs in the world. With a crew off 17 standing-by to look after you during your expedition you will be sure to discover the best diving in the world in style.

Whales, manta rays, and sharks often steal the spotlight — and for good reason.

But Janolus savinkini reminds us that the small things can be just as fascinating.

Look closer and another world appears. Tiny nudibranchs with incredible colors, delicate shrimp hidden in coral, miniature seahorses moving with the current, and countless creatures so easily missed at first glance.

The giants may capture attention, but the smallest details often create the greatest wonder.

Because the ocean’s true beauty isn’t measured by size — it’s found in every corner, every creature, and every discovery.
