🔍 Tiny but extraordinary.

Hidden among the spines of a fire urchin at Seraya Secret, Tulamben, we discovered one of Bali's most fascinating macro subjects, the Coleman shrimp (Periclimenes colemani).

These beautifully patterned shrimp live in close association with fire urchins, using them for both protection and shelter. Their striking colors and tiny size make them a favorite find for underwater photographers and macro diving enthusiasts exploring Bali's famous muck diving sites.

Seraya Secret continues to prove why it is one of the best macro diving destinations in Indonesia, offering endless opportunities to encounter rare and unusual marine life hiding in plain sight.

One of the most mesmerizing sights in Bali's underwater world is encountering a massive school of Bigeye Trevally (Caranx sexfasciatus).

During a dive in Tulamben, our guest Indiana found herself immersed in a swirling cloud of hundreds of fish moving as one. Moments like this remind us that some of the most unforgettable dive experiences happen when marine life takes center stage.

Tulamben is famous for its shipwrecks and vibrant reefs, but it also offers incredible opportunities to witness large schools of pelagic fish in their natural habitat.

Zlatko exploring the legendary USAT Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben, one of the most iconic wreck dives in the world. Resting just meters from shore, this World War II cargo ship has transformed into a thriving artificial reef, covered in vibrant corals and surrounded by an incredible diversity of marine life.

Not every dive is easy to watch.

At Tangked Shark Cave, between Gili Tepekong and Gili Biaha, we encountered this shark swimming with a large fishing hook still lodged in its mouth.

A raw reminder of the impact human activity has on marine life.

This dive was guided by our Divemaster trainee, Kevin, who completed his Divemaster certification with us the following day.

Mola Mola Season Has Started in Bali!

The first ocean sunfish are already showing up on cleaning stations around Bali.

As water temperatures begin to drop, Mola Mola rise from deep, colder layers to shallow reefs where cleaner fish remove parasites. This is when encounters become possible and sometimes truly unforgettable.

From April to November, sightings increase.
From July to October, chances are at their peak.

Where we see them most often:
• Nusa Penida: Crystal Bay, SD, PED, Toya Pakeh
• Nusa Lembongan: Blue Corner
• Candidasa: Gili Mimpang, Gili Tepekong, Tangked Shark Cave
• Padang Bai: Bias Tugel
