Marc Márquez will be among the first riders to experience MotoGP’s future during the upcoming Brno test, where manufacturers are expected to begin evaluating prototype 850cc machines for the 2027 regulations. The test marks an important step toward the sport’s new era, featuring reduced engine capacity and major technical changes.

Ducati plans to involve Márquez in gathering crucial feedback on the next-generation bike, helping engineers understand performance, handling, and tyre behavior ahead of the 2027 debut. The Brno session will provide the first real indication of how MotoGP bikes could look and perform under the new rules.

BEZZECCHI ACCEPTS MARTÍN'S APOLOGY: “NOTHING LEFT UNRESOLVED”

Marco Bezzecchi confirmed there is no lingering tension with Jorge Martín following the dramatic first-corner crash at the Hungarian Grand Prix that wiped out several riders. According to Bezzecchi, Martín was the first person to acknowledge the mistake and apologize for the incident.

Martín publicly apologized to Aprilia and all riders involved, explaining that he lost control of the bike rather than attempting an overly aggressive move. He stressed that he never intended to cause the multi-rider accident and has already spoken directly with those affected.

Bezzecchi showed understanding of the situation, saying that riders often understand each other better than anyone else because incidents like this are part of racing. The Aprilia teammates have effectively moved on from the crash, with Bezzecchi making it clear that there is “nothing left unresolved” between them.

Despite the controversy, both riders remain focused on the championship battle, with Bezzecchi continuing to lead the standings while Martín aims to recover ground at Brno.

Johann Zarco 🗣️ A month now! I am happy to train again, I can't deny that I begin to miss my team, miss my bike and miss my world! As long there is a risk of infection, I cannot risk to have surgery. But time isn't lost because the work done on my knee before the surgery will help me even after it! So I still need to wait a bit🥲 In the meantime, my guitar's skill are improving and it's lovely to share peaceful time with family❤️

MARC MARQUEZ JOKES ABOUT F1’S “FORMER RIDER” BLUNDER

Marc Marquez laughed off an F1 TV graphic error that mistakenly labeled him as a “former MotoGP rider” during his visit to the Catalunya F1 Grand Prix. The Ducati star responded with humor, joking about the mix-up while making it clear that a serious switch to Formula 1 is not in his plans. Marquez said he has huge respect for F1 drivers and believes competing at the highest level on four wheels would be impossible, though he remains open to doing some car races just for fun in the future.
