Cuttlefish possess the ability to swim in different manners, usually gently rippling their side fins. However when in danger, the cuttlefish sucks water into their body cavity and expels it through a funnel like extension on the underside of the body, causing a backward propulsion enabling the cuttlefish to escape from predators.

❕ Green sea turtles aren't named for the color of their shells or carapaces; they're named for the greenish hue of their skin. Their shells are normally brown, dark olive, gray or black, depending on their habitat. Their shells are smooth and heart-shaped. The underside of the shell, called the plastron, is a yellowish-white color. 🤓🤓🤓

Paddle-flap scorpionfish or Rhinopias eschmeyeri is a very unusual looking fish. They have a very distinctive set of paddles or flaps above the eyes from which they obtain their name.. They are ambush predators and will eat any passing fish or crustacean that they can fit in their mouths. Having no teeth the prey is swallowed whole and is pulled into the mouth by the suction created when they open their mouths.
