Our boxing class will be lead by Mr. Mariono Sulasmono ( Monod) and Mr. Didik Mulyadi. Mariono, “The Rhino with a Lion’s Heart”

Known by his ring name Monod, Mariono was a true fighter-style boxer, renowned for his toughness and fearless approach in the ring. He dominated the featherweight division (57.1 kg) nationally in the 1990s, securing victories over formidable opponents such as Ronny Kataibekary, Nurhuda, and Robby Rahangmetan.

On the international stage, Monod made a mark with a knockout victory over Glen Walsh in Melbourne in 1982. However, he fell short in his attempts to claim the OPBF title in Korea and Surabaya. After battling until the age of 36, he retired with his head held high, closing a long and distinguished career as a true warrior. While Mr. Didik Mulyadi was former Indonesian junior featherweight champion in 1980.
